The pricing for this is just extortionate. However, to the general public, they would just compare it to high end consumer displays in the $1,000-$2,000 and cry that it's extortionate pricing just because it's got an Apple logo on it. To be able to deliver a quality product of the specification that they claim at such a low price will be nothing short of game changing for professionals in the field. They're competing with monitors that cost in the region of $10,000 to $40,000 that are used for professional colour grading. The Pro Display, if it is of the level of quality that Apple claim it is, is amazingly good value for money. Now here's some explanation of my thoughts on each and why Apple has priced the stand as such. The context for this post is Apple's WWDC 2019 a conference where, amongst other things, three key products were announced that have been picked up by the tech media.
